Happy ho-ho-holidays, Starbucks fans: Seasonal favorite drinks are back in stores this week.
The coffee giant’s lineup of holiday beverages — along with its popular line of exclusive reusable seasonal cups — returns Nov. 7, Starbucks said in a news release.
And for the first time this year, Starbucks is giving away free reusable red cups while supplies last to customers who order a holiday beverage at participating U.S. stores on Thursday, the company said.
✨Turn on your cheer – the holidays are back tomorrow, Nov. 7! Purchase a handcrafted holiday beverage and get a#Reusable#RedCup free. Hurry – only at participating stores in the U.S. & Canada while supplies last.pic.twitter.com/38856oRAZ2— Starbucks Coffee (@Starbucks)November 6, 2019
Customers who score a red cup and bring it back to participating Starbucks stores from 2 p.m. Nov. 7 through Jan. 7 will get 50 cents off a grande holiday drink.
Those holiday drinks include the peppermint mocha — available year-round, but not with those trademark chocolate shavings — and the toasted white chocolate, caramel brulee latte, chestnut praline latte and eggnog latte.
In addition to the red cup, Starbucks has four new cup designs:
– Polka dots: The red cup with green dots and the Siren logo.
– Merry dance: Red and green letters on a snowy white cup.
– Merry stripes: Looks like its wrapped in vintage wrapping paper.
– Candy cane stripes: Starbucks’ logo over red and white stripes.
Also new this year: Starbucks partnered with Instagram to create an augmented-reality feature for its cups. Open Instagram stories and turn your camera on your Starbucks holiday cup to check out the features. (Read more here.)
Seasonal food offerings include the holiday turkey and stuffing panini, cranberry bliss bar, sugar plum danish, snowman cookie, gingerbread loaf, and peppermint brownie and snowman cake pops.
