Two plays performed by CCArts theater students

Come celebrate the holidays with the Center for the Creative Arts in Yorklyn by enjoying these spirited performances by their theater students.

The CCArts theater will present “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” by their Saturday Children’s Theatre group on Saturday, Dec. 8, 11:30 a.m., and “It’s a Wonderful Life” by the Saturday Teen and Adult theatre group on Saturday, Dec. 15, 7 p.m.

Both performances are under the guidance of director Rachel Barton and tell the classic tales with themes of the value of family and friends or a zany adventure.

Admission at the door is $5, with children ages 10 and under attending for free.

CCArts has been offering classes in the fine and performing arts for over 38 years as well as art exhibits, community celebrations, public art projects and the popular Yorklyn Live: Open Mic Night.
