Goldey-Beacom College saw three of its student-athletes honored by the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.

Marta Lopez, of Valencia, Spain, was named Women’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week a second straight week; Melayna Immediato, of Hockessin and Delaware Military Academy, was picked to the sport’s weekly honor roll; and sophomore Lindsay Przywara, of Williamstown, New Jersey, was tabbed to volleyball’s weekly honor roll.

Lopez went 2-0 during the week of Sept. 12, recording six saves to go with a 1.00 goals-against average and a .750 save percentage in two key league victories. She notched three saves Sept. 12 in a 3-1 triumph at Holy Family University and posted the same total in a 4-1 win Sept. 15 at Dominican College.

Lopez has helped Goldey-Beacom — 6-0, 3-0 CACC — achieve its best start in school history and the six-game winning streak matches a team record. She made 82 saves for her career, already the seventh-best mark in team annals.

Immediato, the league’s player and rookie of the week Sept. 4 and an honor roll member the next week, scored twice Sept. 12 as Goldey-Beacom remained unbeaten with its huge triumph at Holy Family. Immediato has six goals, four assists and 16 points over six games. Her goals are tied for second in the league, and her points are second outright.

Przywara recorded 54 kills, 31 digs and double-doubles in three matches the week of Sept. 11. She 16 kills and 10 digs Sept. 11 against Chestnut Hill College, 17 kills and 10 digs Sept. 14 vs. Post University and 21 kills and 11 digs Sept. 15 at Felician University. Przywara, an honor roll pick three times this year, moved into the 10th place in school history with 508 kills and this season has notched four double-doubles.
