AIDS Walk Delaware will take place Sept. 22 in two locations — at Dravo Plaza, South Madison Street, Wilmington, and at Grove Park, Grove Street and Columbia Avenue, Rehoboth Beach.
AIDS Delaware and the Delaware HIV Consortium join forces to renew the commitment to the fight for a cure and to support Delawareans affected by HIV/AIDS.
Funds raised support statewide HIV/AIDS services at several AIDS service organizations. This year’s goal is $100,000. Visit AIDSWalkDelaware.org to make a donation.
The AIDS Walk is a family and pet-friendly event. The “Knowledge Neighborhood” includes vendors representing community based organizations and local businesses that will share their information with the participants. Walkers who raise $30 or more will receive a T-shirt at the walk.
