The Energize Delaware Community Energy Centers have launched their Summer Home Cooling Workshops to help Delawareans learn how keep their homes cool while keeping their energy bills in check.

The workshops will teach attendees how to keep their homes cool through home weatherization techniques and energy-efficiency behaviors. Workshop attendees also receive a free kit of energy saving products to install at home, including a LED light bulbs, LED nightlight and a caulking Kit.

Energize Delaware Community Energy Centers offer income-qualified Delawareans a one-stop-shop to access energy bill payment assistance, energy education, weatherization and related home repair services, energy and budget counseling, as well as referrals to other related programs and services.

The program also serves the community through Home Energy Workshops and the Delaware Energy Directory and Utility & Fuel Assistance Guide.

Energize Delaware Community Energy Centers are located in Wilmington, Newark, Dover and Georgetown. The Energy Coordinating Agency of Philadelphia implements the program, with Catholic Charities and First State Community Action Agency operating the centers.
