The robbery occurred Thursday at about 9:08 p.m., at Auto Zone, 4602 Kirkwood Highway, just west of Limestone Road.

Delaware State Police are investigating the armed robbery of an auto parts store Thursday night in the Pike Creek area.

The robbery happened at about 9:08 p.m., at Auto Zone, 4602 Kirkwood Highway, just west of Limestone Road.

Two male suspects, one with a gun, entered the store and ordered the two male employees to go to the office area. The suspects demanded money from the store safe and cash registers.

The clerks complied with the demands and turned over an undisclosed amount of money. The suspects then left the store and fled in an unknown direction. There were no injuries reported.

Police said the first suspect was described as a black male, 23 to 27 years old, weighing about 180 pounds, wearing black pants and a black hooded sweatshirt, with a black bandana covering his face. He was armed with a gun.

The second suspect was described as a black male, 5-feet-9-inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants with a bandana covering his face.

No video surveillance photos are available at this time.
