- The Hockessin ACME celebrated its grand re-opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, January 18 at 9:00 a.m. The company recognized long-time Hockessin store director John Donahue who recently retired from the company after 45 years. Several charitable donations were also made to local organizations including the Hockessin Fire Company and Police Athletic League of Delaware. The emcee for the event was Dan Croce, Vice President of Operations for ACME.
