Ronald McDonald House Charities will celebrate the fourth annual RMHC National Vehicle Donation Day on Nov. 15.

Local Ronald McDonald Houses across the U.S. — including Ronald Mcdonald House of Delaware, 1901 Rockland Road, Wilmington — will work together to spread the word that “you hold the keys to family togetherness” at a local Ronald McDonald House.

This year, Ronald McDonald House Charities anticipates having more than 1,000 vehicles donated to the vehicle donation program, raising nearly $1 million for local chapters of the charity.

Donations of a used car, truck, boat or recreational vehicle can help provide families a “home-away-from-home” at a local Ronald McDonald House and keep them together during the hospitalization of a seriously ill child. Vehicles are picked up for free, and donations also are tax deductible. Cars donated by Delaware residents will directly benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware.
