The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) has announced that railroad maintenance will require lane closures on Yorkridge Trail road between Yorklyn Road and Sharpless Road, starting Monday, June 25.

The Wilmington and Western Railroad Company has contracted with Railroad Constructors to improve and rebuild the road surface at their railroad crossing on Yorkridge Trail road.

The work is scheduled for 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, June 25 through Friday, June 29, pending weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Due to the nature of the work to repair the railroad tracks and roadway, immediate access may not always be available to drivers who should anticipate delays and lane closures on Yorkridge Trail.
