New Castle County Police are actively investigating an apparent homicide that occurred on Kiamensi. Rd in the area of the Glen Burnie Estates.

Police have identified the victims as 30-year-old Isabel Cooper and 34-year–old Berry Thessalonis, according to a press release.

Police said that early in the morning on Thursday, May 24, New Castle County Police were dispatched to a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of the intersection of Kiamensi Rd @ Rothwell Dr.

When the units arrived, police said they discovered two injured subjects inside of the vehicle. Both of the subjects had apparent gunshot wounds and were later pronounced deceased by New Castle County Paramedics.

Detectives from the New Castle County Police Homicide Squad arrived on scene and assumed the investigation, police said.

Police said that this is currently an ongoing and active investigation. No suspect information is available at this time.
