Sunday Breakfast Mission, 110 N. Poplar St., Wilmington, will have activities to provide hope for men, women and children during Easter weekend, March 31-April 1.
The SBM Family Center will engage children by building hope with an afternoon of craft making, card decorating and an Easter egg hunt from 2 to 5 p.m. March 31. The festivities will be topped off with popcorn and a movie.
The provision of hope will continue on Easter, April 1, with the giving of Easter baskets prepared by volunteers for the children. A celebration of Easter with special music, dance and a message for moms and their children about the hope provided in Easter will occur.
For men, women and children in need, there will be a special community dinner with baked ham and all the extras beginning at 5:45 p.m. After the evening community dinner, anyone who attends will be given a free hygiene kit and share in a chapel service focusing on how hope is offered through Easter.
