New Castle County Police say that 20-year old Monica Mlynarczyk, from the North Star community in Hockessin has been located, following the issuance of a Gold Alert earlier today.


New Castle County Police are searching for 20-year old Monica Mlynarczyk, missing from North Star, in Hockessin.

On the morning of Thursday, Dec. 21, around 2:50 a.m., New Castle County Police were dispatched to the unit block of Jupiter Rd. in the neighborhood of North Star for a report of a missing person, according to a police press release.

While on scene, the officers learned that Mlynarczyk made statements that caused a concern for her welfare and left the residence in a gray Mazda MZ3 displaying DE registration, police said.

Mlynarczyk is described as a white female, 5’10” tall, green eyes, and brown-reddish hair.
