The Delaware Department of Transportation recently announced lanes will be closed or shifted on Interstate 295 northbound to Interstate 95 northbound between Exit 5 and past Route 141 northbound interchange from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Nov. 6, 7 and 8.

In addition, Exit 2/state Route 141 southbound to I-295 northbound will be closed those nights.

I-95 northbound will be closing/shifting lanes to I-295 northbound and the ramps to state Route 141 northbound and southbound to I-95 northbound from 8 p.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 8, 9 and 10. The nighttime lane and ramps closures are necessary for bridge pier demolition.

Exit 2/state Route 141 southbound ramp to I-295 northbound will be closed Nov. 6 and 7. Motorists traveling on state Route 141 southbound will follow detour signs to Commons Boulevard to Churchmans Road to I-95 northbound to I-295 northbound.

I-295 northbound motorists will use the right lane signed for I-95 northbound and stay on the right lane of I-95 and then use the temporary crossover just past the work zone to go back onto I-295 northbound.

Exit 3A/state Route 141 southbound to I-95 northbound will be closed Nov. 8-9. Motorists traveling on state Route 141 southbound will follow detour signs to Commons Boulevard to Churchmans Road to I-95 northbound.

Exit 3A/state Route 141 northbound to I-95 northbound will be closed Nov. 8-9. Motorists traveling east on Commons Boulevard will follow detour signs to U-turn onto Commons Boulevard heading west to Churchmans Road to I-95 northbound to I-295 northbound.

Motorists traveling on state Route 141 northbound will follow detour signs to Commons Boulevard to Churchmans Road to I-95 northbound.

On I-95 northbound, motorists will use the right lanes signed for I-295 northbound and stay on the left lane of I-295 northbound and then use the temporary crossover, past the work zone to go back onto I-95 northbound.
