Goldey-Beacom College junior Ryan Quigg, of Sykesville, Maryland, ended week by finishing tied for eighth at the Post Eagles Invitational in Watertown, Connecticut.
Coming off the Oct. 9 opening-round 75, Quigg duplicated that Oct. 10 to close with 150. The Oct. 10 round featured two birdies to go on top of the four he had in the opening 18. His six birdies were tied for the fourth most on the week.
Sophomore Shea Murphy, of Wilmington and Wilmington Charter, recently named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Academic Honor Roll, was tied for 37th with 161 that included his Oct. 10 score of 79. Senior Andre Primeau, of Pontypool, Ontario, carded a final-round 80 to end tied for 41st at 164; and freshman Hunter Tollinger, of Elkton, Maryland, finished tied for 43rd with 165.
GBC on Oct. 10 carded 312 to end the tournament eighth with 635. Southern New Hampshire won with 591, including an Oct. 10 score of 294.
