Goldey-Beacom College recently named Dawn Roberts an assistant coach for its cross-country programs.

Roberts debuts in Pike Creek after service last fall as the middle school cross-country coach for Caravel Academy. She helped lead all training sessions, instruction of all fundamental skills and working on the necessary physical training.

She also served as the track and field coach at Conrad School of Science from 2015 to 2017. Roberts headed both the indoor and outdoor programs, leading the Red Wolves in all aspects of the programs.

Roberts has served as director of communications for Elite Access Running LLC since 2015, heading the media relations for all premier races. She also was a public relations and special events consultant for the National Association of Black Journalists from 2010 to 2011.

Roberts earned her Bachelor of Arts in journalism from Delaware State University in 1992, her postbaccalaureate from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 2000 and her postbaccalaureate from the University of Delaware in 2003.
