The Delaware Department of Transportation’s contractor, Pennoni, will be inspecting the bridge over Brandywine River on Augustine Cut-Off between Lovering Avenue and Stone Hill Road in Wilmington.

Daytime lane closures and lane shifts will occur from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Motorists should be aware that bridge personnel and equipment will be operating in close proximity to the travel lanes and anticipate lane shifts.

From July 31 through Aug. 3, traffic lanes on Augustine Cut-Off will be shifted to the north between Lovering Avenue and Stone Hill Road to temporarily increase the width of the eastbound shoulder. The eastbound and westbound travel lanes will be open during the shift.

There will be alternating one-way traffic controlled by flaggers on South Park Drive between Lovering Avenue and North Scott Street on Aug. 4.

From Aug. 7 to 10, traffic lanes on Augustine Cut-Off will be shifted to the south between Lovering Avenue and Stone Hill Road to temporarily increase the width of the westbound shoulder. The eastbound and westbound travel lanes will be open during the shift.
