Jamal Jones, 18, was arrested Wednesday evening.
A Dover man with a history of criminal activity has again been arrested.
Jamal Jones, 18, was taken into custody Wednesday, Dover Police Department spokesman Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.
Police were called at about 1:53 p.m. July 26 by a pizza delivery driver who said he had been robbed of his cash while in Capital Green. The victim said his assailant ran into a home in the 400 block of East Water Street following the robbery, Hoffman said.
Police surrounded the home and took Jones into custody after he initially refused to cooperate with officers.
Jones is charged with first-degree robbery and resisting arrest; he has been jailed at the Vaughn Correctional Center on a $50,500 cash bond.
Jones has at least two prior arrests, according to Dover PD files. The first was in August 2014 when at the age of 15 he was one of five people who assaulted to teenagers and stole their bicycles.
In December 2016 Jones was charged with assault and firearms possession following a double shooting in Capital Green.
