Can you provide me with a description of your business?
Drip Café is a coffee and brunch cafe featuring fresh, local ingredients prepared from scratch daily and served in a fun, family friendly environment.  Through our key partnerships with Highland Orchards, T.A. Farms, and the Lancaster Farm Fresh Co-Op, we are able to deliver the freshest ingredients in all our products.  Many of our coffees are sourced through direct relationships with the farmers at origin.  P.T.’s Coffee Roasting Co. and Ceremony Coffee Roasters have long standing relationships the farmers and their communities. We’re also committed to reducing our company’s carbon footprint.  We utilize local recycling and composting services to reduce our overall waste.  We order from our neighbors to support our community and to ensure our food isn’t traveling too far to get here.  We pride ourselves on connecting real people with real food. 

How did you get started in this business? 
I’ve always worked in restaurants, starting as a dishwasher at a local pizza shop, moving to various serving and cooking positions throughout the area, and eventually landing in the coffee industry. Coffee and food have always been a passion of mine. 

Who would or should frequent your business? 
Drip Cafe is a great place to meet with friends, colleagues, and family.  We pride ourselves on being a community center.  If you love a unique breakfast paired with a great cup of coffee, then Drip Cafe is the place you've been looking for. 

Why Hockessin? 
We love Hockessin!  Everyone is friendly and outgoing.  There is always a great vibe around town.

Where do you see your business in five years? 
We’re focused on reducing our carbon footprint as a restaurant, and I would love us to become an industry leader for the reduction of restaurant waste.  We’re also very interested in local non-profit groups.  It’s vitally important for our business to continually be active in the community we serve.
