  • Padua’s 2nd Annual Ronald's Rescue Wiffle Ball Tournament was held Apr. 6 and was a huge success. Over 250 members of the Padua community showed up to enjoy the beautiful weather, delicious food and spirited competition.

Ronald's Rescue was excited to welcome Ronald McDonald to Rockford Park to get the day started with the ceremonial first pitch. The 2nd Annual Tournament had similar results to the first tournament, with the Senior Team "Get Wiff It," winning the Championship Trophy and the Sophomore Team "No Plate Like Home" taking home the fundraising trophy.

After all the games were finished, Ronald's Rescue was excited to announce that they raised $4,000 toward aiding the Ronald McDonald House of Wilmington. With the money raised for the House this year, Padua will be able to donate over 500 nights towards families in need.
