  • Troopers Investigate Attempted Robbery of Newark Gas Station

  • Suspect described as a white male, 25-35 years old, large build, with clothing covering his face and armed with a knife

  • Troopers are investigating a robbery of the Shell gas station, 380 East Chestnut Hill Road, that occurred Sunday evening.
    The incident occurred at 11:11 p.m. when a white male suspect with clothing over his face entered the store and confronted the 31-year-old male clerk. The suspect brandished a knife and demanded cash. The clerk then immediately reached for a phone and the suspect fled.
    No one was injured during this incident.
