  • Troopers Investigate Attempted Robbery of New Castle Store Employee

  • Troopers are investigating an attempted robbery of an employee of Zunimex, 217 Lisa Drive, that occurred yesterday evening.
     
    The incident occurred at approximately 10:00 p.m. when the store employee, an 18-year-old male, arrived at the business after making a delivery. While outside he was confronted by a male suspect who was armed with a handgun. The suspect demanded cash, but the employee did not have any, so the suspect fled.
     
    No one was injured during this incident.
