  • Talented Archmere alumni will return home to perform in "Coming Home For Christmas," a festive family concert in The Patio Courtyard, 3600 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, on Sunday, Dec. 16 at 3 p.m.
Hosted by The Friends of The Patio, the seasonal event opens the 2013-2014 Helena Springer Green Raskob Concert Series, a fundraising initiative that benefits the restoration of The Patio Building.
Under the direction of former Archmere faculty member Mary Ellen Schauber, over 30 alumni Mastersingers return to perform holiday favorites featuring student instrumentalists. The audience is invited to the reception following the concert.
Come experience the Christmas spirit of The Patio and enjoy the remarkable vocal performance by alumni Mastersingers! Tickets are $35 for adults and $20 for students, which may be purchased online at www.archmereacademy.com/friendsofthepatio/greenconcertseries.
The Friends of The Patio is an organization committed to the renovation and preservation of this historical building. Proceeds from the Green Concert Series benefit restoration projects.
