  • Delaware State Police are investigating the robbery of the 7-Eleven at 2510 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, that occurred Sunday morning.
    The crime happened at 12:57 a.m. when the suspect entered the store, displayed a knife, and demanded money from the 22-year-old male clerk. The clerk opened the cash register, and the suspect removed money from the cash tray and fled.
    No one was injured in this incident.
    The suspect is described as a black male, 18-20 years old, approximately 5'11" tall, with a thin build, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt. No video surveillance available for release, police said.
