  • The Department of Transportation announces that increased traffic volumes are expected on Delaware's roadways beginning, Nov. 27.
Lane closures on Route 1, I-95, and U.S. Route 202 will be suspended at noon and will resume at midnight on Dec. 1. Over the holiday weekend, DelDOT's Transportation Management Center (TMC) will monitor more than 5,500 miles of state-maintained roads around the clock.
The tollbooths at the I-95 Newark Plaza, Route 1-Biddle's Corner Plaza, and Route 1-Dover Plaza will have extra personnel to ease traffic congestion.
