Delaware State Troopers are searching for a suspect wanted for the armed robbery of a woman outside one business and for pointing a gun at a man outside another business on Limestone Road early this morning.
The incident began at about 1:45 a.m., in the parking garage of Buffalo Wild Wings, 2062 Limestone Road, as the victim, a 19-year-old man, walked to his vehicle. He walked past a friend's vehicle and saw a white male suspect in it. Knowing this suspect was not authorized to be in the vehicle, the victim confronted him, and the suspect began to walk out of the parking garage. As the victim followed the suspect, the suspect turned around a pointed a handgun at the victim. The suspect then fled on foot.
A short time later, the same suspect approached a 57-year-old woman in the parking lot of the nearby Wawa, 2030 Limestone Road. He displayed a handgun and demanded cash. The woman complied and the suspect fled, police said.
No one was injured during these incidents.
Police said the suspect was described as a white male, 20-30 years old, approximately 5'10" tall, with a large build, and military-style haircut. He was armed with a handgun. No further description was available.
No video surveillance was available for release.
