  • The Delaware State Police Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Unit responded to the DuPont Experimental Station, 200 Powder Mill Road, after a suspicious package was delivered to the complex Thursday afternoon.
    At 12:53 p.m. staff at the Experimental Station contacted State Police after receiving a suspicious package, a box that was packaged in an unusual manner for its purported contents. Responding Troopers secured the box and EOD responded to the scene.
    EOD members inspected the box and determined that it contained a computer and related equipment. No harmful or dangerous materials were contained within the box. Troopers cleared the scene at approximately 3:30 p.m.
