  • Delaware State Police troopers are asking for the public's help identifying a man who stole cigarettes from the Rite Aid, 2080 Naamans Road, on April 30.
The incident occurred at 4:13 p.m. when the black male suspect asked a 16-year-old female cashier for three cartons of cigarettes, State Police Cpl. John Day said. As she placed them in a bag, the suspect yelled at her, causing her to drop two cartons on the counter and one on the floor.
The suspect then reached over the sales counter and pushed the cashier while ordering her to pick up the carton. She did so, and the suspect fled with all three cartons.
The suspect was described as a black male, 25 to 30 years old, approximately 5-foot-9, thin and with noticeable acne.
