The 7-Eleven at 4865 Governor Printz Blvd. in Wilmington was robbed early Thursday morning, Delaware State Police said.
The incident occurred at 3:35 a.m. Thursday when a black male suspect entered the store and asked the victim, a 39-year-old male employee, for change for a five-dollar bill, State Police Cpl. John Day said. When the victim opened the cash register, the suspect displayed a knife and demanded money.
The victim placed the register till on the counter, and the suspect removed the cash and fled, Day said.
The suspect was described as a black male, 5-foot-3 with an average build and missing teeth, Day said. No further description was available.
