Rock and Roll Legends walk down Memory Lane at The Grand this weekend

The Rock & Roll Legends Show

    Saturday April 27  Grand Opera House    7pm

    Walk down Memory Lane by walking down Market Street this weekend. The doo-wop shows so popular on PBS come live to The Grand.           

            Starring "Teen Idol" the one and only Jimmy Clanton who made the charts with his first hit "Just a Dream". Clanton went on to several appearances on Dick Clark's AMERICAN BANDSTAND. Jimmy will also sing his hits, "Go Jimmy Go", "Another Sleepless Night" and "Venus In Blue Jeans".             

            The show will be hosted by Lou Costello of 92.1 WVLT and The Famous Doo Wop Diner.

            The majority of the groups have their original have their original members. The Original Tymes are in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.



  • Jay Siegle's  The Tokens - "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" . The Tokens special guest will be Jay Traynor (the original Jay from Jay & The Americans). Traynor will sing "She  Cried"


  • Emil Stucchio & The Classics - "Til Then", "I Who Have Nothing"


  • The Legendary Teenagers - "Why Do Fools Fall In Love", "The ABC's of Love"


  • Jimmy Gallagher & The Passions -  "Just To Be With You", "I Only Want You"


  • The Original Tymes - "So Much In Love", "You Little Trustmaker"


  • Lenny Coco & The Chimes - "Once In A While", "I'm In The Mood For Love"




            The musical support being supplied by the Coda Band being led by Musical director, Pete Mastropaolo.

            The stars will be at tables selling pictures, CDs, shirts, etc as well as signing autographs and taking pictures at intermission and also at the end of the show. Cash only.

            There will be a drawing for 2 meals at the Hotel DuPont.
