  • Delaware State Police troopers have been searching for a man who recently attempted to steal from the Walgreens at 4575 New Linden Hill Road in Pike Creek, and then fought with a store employee.

  • Delaware State Police troopers have been searching for a man who recently attempted to steal from the Walgreens at 4575 New Linden Hill Road in Pike Creek, and then fought with a store employee.
    The incident occurred at 11 a.m. March 29 when the white male suspect attempted to push of a cart filled with Red Bull energy drink out of the store, State Police Cpl. John Day said. When a store employee confronted the suspect, the suspect fought with the store employee, who was able to successfully retain the merchandise.
    The suspect then fled from the store, Day said.
    The suspect was described as a white male, 25 to 30 years old, approximately 5-foot-10 with a thin build, wearing a dark shirt and pants, a black cap, and a tan jacket, he said. No further physical or clothing description was available.
