The Delaware of Transportation has advised drivers in northern New Castle County that the removal of the temporary barrier wall along I-95 at the U.S. Route 202 interchange will require a ramp closure.
The southbound Exit 8B ramp off I-95 onto northbound U.S. Route 202 (Concord Pike) will close Tuesday evening, April 2, at midnight through 5 a.m., Wednesday morning April 3, for the removal of the temporary barrier wall.
To go north on U.S. Route 202, traffic on southbound I-95 will be detoured to Delaware Avenue to Jackson Street, then make a left onto 9th Street, make a left onto Adams Street, then take the exit to northbound I-95 to Exit 8 U.S. Route 202 north.
Variable message boards will be placed to notify motorists of the upcoming closures.
