  • Delaware State Police Youth Aid Division detectives are asking for the public's help in locating a male subject who walked away from the New Castle County Detention Center.
    The incident occurred on March 15 after Dejuan Robinson, 14, of Wilmington was transported to the New Castle County Detention Center from an unsecured facility. After arriving at the detention center Robinson left the premises. Detectives have obtained a warrant for Robinson's arrest for one count of second-degree escape.
    The New Castle County Detention Center is a 64-bed, lock-secure facility serving pre-adjudicated males and females under the age of 18.
    Robinson is described as a 5-foot-5, 110-pound, black male, Day said. He is known to frequent West Street in Wilmington.
    Anyone who may have any information about this incident or Robinson's whereabouts is asked to call Troop 2 at 302-834-2620. Citizens may also provide a tip by texting keyword "DSP" plus your message to 274637 (CRIMES), or through lines maintained by Delaware Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333.
