Curtis, a singer-songwriter based in Boston, Mass., has tunes that have been categorized in multiple genres including: pop, rock, alternative country and folk. She's dropped more than a dozen albums, of which her latest was "Stretch Limousine on Fire" in 2011. The project is rawer than her previous works and delivers some of the finest material of her career: 10 original tracks that push at her musical boundaries.
"Limousine On Fire," recorded live in Stampede Origin Studio in Los Angeles, Calif., anchors the energy of Curtis' concerts, thanks to a fiercely-talented band featuring drummer Jay Bellerose and bassist Jennifer Condos, both of whom toured as part of Ray LaMontagne's Pariah Dogs.
Throughout Curtis' career, her music has appeared in a number of acclaimed programs like "Dawson's Creek," "Felicity" and "Chicago Hope." Her accolades also include a performance at the White House in 2010.
Aside from music, Curtis remains on the treadmill.
She's juggling her Aspire to Inspire endowment, which provides musical instruments to seven youth-oriented music organizations, while also officiating nontraditional weddings and having the full-time job of raising two daughters with her partner.
