Great Harvest Bread Co., 4154 Ogletown-Stanton Road, Newark, is baking Irish Soda and Gouda and Stout Bread from scratch for St. Patrick's Day.
Irish Soda bread became a staple of the Irish diet and it is served warm or toasted with a dab of butter and preserves. It will be available March 14-16.
The Gouda and Stout bread will be available each Thursday in March and is made from smoked Gouda cheese and Irish extra stout beer. The bakery will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays. For more information, visit www.GreatHarvestNewark.com.
