  • The PAWS for People will hold its annual Easter Bone Hunt at 1:30 p.m. March 23 at the Blue Hen Bed and Breakfast, 1202 Nottingham Road, Newark.
    This event gives dogs and the people who love and care for them a chance to run, play, and search for Easter eggs filled with treats, toys, and prizes. There will also be games and contests for dogs and kids, face painting, refreshments, and photos along with a special appearance by the Easter Bunny and Thera P. Dog. Participants are asked to bring their own baskets; free parking on Virginia Avenue.
    Admission fee is $5 for adults; $3 for children if registered by March 18. Walk-in admission is $1 more per person; dogs are free. Proceeds will benefit PAWS for People programs and services. For more information, call (302) 351-5622 or visit www.pawsforpeople.org.
