  • The Sanford Warriors continued their path toward another championship on Saturday with an 88-46 win over Dover.
After a slow start for Dover, Sanford jumped on the Senators taking a commanding 25-6 after one quarter of play.
The Senators responded on both ends of the floor in the second, but still weren’t able to match Sanford’s output.  At the end of the first half, Sanford led 39-19.
Sanford did not let up in the second half, scoring 28 points in the third stanza to further pull away from the Senators.
The Senators never quit, but simply couldn’t keep up with Sanford who continued to pour it on offensively, eventually coming away with the 88-46 victory.
Keith Rollerson led the Senators with 13 points, while Tyler Myers contributed 12 in the loss.
Todd Hughes and Kyle Rose led the way for Sanford, both finished with 18 points. Sabri Thompson followed with 17.
