  • Troopers are investigating a robbery of an elderly female that occurred in the parking lot of the Pathmark, 3901 Lancaster Pike, yesterday evening.

  • Troopers are investigating a robbery of an elderly female that occurred in the parking lot of the Pathmark, 3901 Lancaster Pike, yesterday evening.
    The incident occurred at 7:16 p.m. when an 89-year-old female was loading groceries into her car. An unknown black male suspect wearing dark clothing ran up to the victim and punched her in the head, knocking her to the ground. He then removed her waist pack, which contained money and credit cards, from the front seat of her vehicle, and ran away.
    The victim was transported to St. Francis Hospital, where she was treated for minor injuries and released.
    The Delaware State Police is asking anyone who may have any information in reference to this incident to contact the Robbery Unit at Troop 2 at 834-2630 extension 6.
