  • A New Jersey man faces charges after being linked to several robberies and after robbing Louviers Federal Credit Union, 2612 Kirkwood Highway in Newark on Feb. 21.
George R. Myers, 37, of Camden. N.J. was charged with first degree robbery, three counts of robbery in the second degree, and four counts of wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony.
Investigators say Myers entered the bank and approached the female tellers and demanded money. They say the tellers turned over an undisclosed amount of cash and Myers ran away. Police say Myers was then linked to the bank robbery that occurred Nov. 12 at the Delaware First FCU, 1815 Newport Gap Pike in Wilmington, and the robbery of the M&T Bank, 102 Astro Shopping Center in Newark on Oct. 30.
