  • The Chadds Ford Art Sale & Show Featured Artist Stephen Brehm will be profiled in the April issue of American Art Collector Magazine, a monthly magazine specifically for collectors, galleries and painters. The magazine's articles emphasize mainstream art by today's favorite living artists. Brehm was born in France and has traveled extensively resulting in a deep appreciation for landscapes and seascapes. He now resides in Lancaster, PA.
    Donating Artist Madeleine Kelly is a Brandywine Valley artist whose work can be found throughout the U.S., including a collection at the University of Pennsylvania and the set of the indie film "The Suspect." Kelly often explores new materials and various techniques including pastels over acrylic paint.
    New for this year:
    Meet Cartoonist John Gallagher: Cartoonist, self-publisher, award-winning designer and Comi-Con exhibitor John Gallagher will create unique, personalized cartoon works for purchase.
    Art Tours: Join guides for free informative tours of the art collection at Chadds Ford Elementary School featuring works from artists prominent in the inception and foundation of the Brandywine Tradition.
    Art Cafe: Children ages 5 to 12 can drop in and create their own masterpiece in a relaxing "art studio" atmosphere. Spaces are available on a first come, first served basis, costs vary $10-15 based on project selection.
    The popular Chadds Ford Art Sale & Show features works by over 70 professional artists from the Brandywine Valley and beyond. The show opens on Friday evening with a complimentary reception where patrons can meet the artists while enjoying live music and hors d'oeuvres from prominent local restaurants. 30% of all art purchases are tax deductible.
