The American Lung Association in Delaware will hold a freedom from smoking facilitator training workshop on April 10 and 11.
The workshop will be held from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday and from 8 a.m. to noon on Thursday at its office in Newark, 630 Churchmans Road, Suite 2, Newark. The workshop trains participants to become certified freedom from smoking facilitators and host freedom from smoking clinics in their communities.
To be eligible to become a freedom from smoking facilitator the participants in the April workshop must have not used tobacco for at least 12 months prior to the training.
