  • Delaware Theatre Company is thrilled to announce the cast of Daryl Roth's "Love, Loss, and What I Wore" to the DTC stage March 6 through March 17.
This intimate collection of stories by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron is based on the best-selling book by Ilene Beckerman, and on the recollections of the Ephrons' friends. Like the popular book, the show uses clothing and accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny and often poignant stories that all women can relate to, creating one of the most enduring theatergoing experiences in New York and now across the country.
Proving that a great show is always in fashion, "Love, Loss, and What I Wore" with its starry cast and compulsively entertaining subject matter, has become an international hit.
The star cast includes Dawn Wells ("Gilligan's Island"), Sabrina Lebeauf ("The Cosby Show"), Sonia Manzano ("Sesame Street"), Karyn Quackenbush ("Chapelle's Show") and Erica Watson (TLC's "Big Sexy").
The Off Broadway hit opened at the Westside Theatre on October 1, 2009, where it broke all box office records. Since "Love, Loss, and What I Wore" opened, audiences around the globe have gotten the chance to experience it. The show has played on six continents, in places including: South Africa, Philippines, France, Argentina; Australia, Canada and many more. Los Angeles' Geffen Theatre and Chicago's Broadway Playhouse both hosted extended runs, and the show completed its first national tour in 2012.
"Nora and Delia Ephron are literary alchemists expert at mixing the sentimental and the satirical and turning out something poignant," according to Bloomberg Radio. Deemed "Witty and Wise" by Vanity Fair.
