  • The Delaware Children's Museum, 550 Justison St., Wilmington, will host programs on architecture, engineering, and robotics for the month of February.
    Feb. 1 through Feb. 25, the museum will host a block party where children can put on their hard hats, boots, and construction vests as they design, plan, and build rocket ships, forts and more. Wood and foam blocks, plastic tubes, and other architectural materials of all sizes and shapes will be on hand as well.
    "Try Science: Be an Engineer, " will be held on Feb. 9 and 10. Activities will include designing a collaborative marble roller coaster, constructing a propeller-driven zip line racer, and creating structures out of a variety of materials to test its strength.
    A Robotics Lab will be held on Feb. 16. The lab will be led by high school students in the Charter School of Wilmington's "Science Ambassador's" program, and children will have the opportunity to hand create their own robot.
    The museum will host a play date for parents from 6 to 9 p.m. on Feb. 15. Parents will have the chance to drop their children off for three hours while the museum host several programs and a dance party for the children. A hot chocolate bar and treats will be available as well; registration is required.
