  • The Liberty University Flames handed the University of Delaware a rare home defeat, rolling over the Hens 7-2 Friday night at the Rust Ice Arena.

  • Tenth-ranked Liberty University defeated the University of Delaware's ice hockey club 7-2 Friday night at the Fred Rust Ice Arena in Newark. The Flames' goaltender Clayton Brown turned aside 36 of 38 shots to stymie the usually potent Delaware offense. The 12th-ranked Hens are now 21-9 on the season. The two teams play again this afternoon at 5:15 p.m. on Delaware's home ice.
