New Candlelight Theatre is kicking off the 2013 season with the hilarious Mel Brooks musical, "The Producers," in which opening night is Friday. The show dates will run through March 17.
Winner of 12 Tony Awards, there's no better way to celebrate the craziness of live theater than to present this brilliant satire about a famed Broadway producers, his nerdy young accountant and their money making scheme to produce the "worst show on Broadway."
"The Producers" will have show dates Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons. A Thursday evening performance will be available on March 14.
All tickets include dinner and show and are $56 for adults and $33 for children between the ages of 4 and 12. Children under the age of 4 are not permitted to the show. A special Valentine's Day package includes: two tickets, a bottle of wine and a brownie sundae for $125. The Valentine's Day special runs Feb. 15 through Feb. 17.
New Candlelight Theatre is located just minutes north of downtown Wilmington and 20 minutes south of Philadelphia. One of the few remaining dinner theaters on the East Coast, NCT has been thrilling audiences for more than 40 years.
