The Delaware River and Bay Authority officials announced, on Wednesday, its internship program that will provide university and college students with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional work environment during the upcoming summer.

The Delaware River and Bay Authority officials announced, on Wednesday, its internship program that will provide university and college students with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional work environment during the upcoming summer.

The six to nine week summer program is comprised of on-the-job experience, leadership development, exposure to senior leaders, and cross-functional team experiences.

Internships are available in the following departments:  Executive administration, airports, engineering, finance, food service (Cape May-Lewes Ferry), human resources, police, public information / communications, social media/marketing, and maintenance (HVAC). Undergraduate students will be paid $10 an hour for a 40-hour work week and graduate program students will be paid $12 an hour for a 40-hour work week.
