  • The Delaware River and Bay Authority officials announced, on Wednesday, its internship program that will provide university and college students with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional work environment during the upcoming summer.

  • The Delaware River and Bay Authority officials announced, on Wednesday, its internship program that will provide university and college students with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional work environment during the upcoming summer.
    The six to nine week summer program is comprised of on-the-job experience, leadership development, exposure to senior leaders, and cross-functional team experiences.
    Internships are available in the following departments:  Executive administration, airports, engineering, finance, food service (Cape May-Lewes Ferry), human resources, police, public information / communications, social media/marketing, and maintenance (HVAC). Undergraduate students will be paid $10 an hour for a 40-hour work week and graduate program students will be paid $12 an hour for a 40-hour work week.
    Applications/resume must be submitted to www.drba.net no later than Feb. 18.
