  • Troopers Investigate Armed Robbery of Claymont Burger King

  • Troopers are investigating a robbery of the Burger King, 2911 Philadelphia Pike, that occurred yesterday evening.

  • The incident occurred at 9:55 p.m. when two suspects entered the store shortly before its closing. One of the suspects displayed a handgun. The suspects demanded money from the six employees in the restaurant, and one turned over an undisclosed amount of the restaurant's cash. The suspects then fled from the business.
    Suspects:
    Black male, approximately 6' tall, thin build, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and a mask (no further physical or clothing description available). Armed with a handgun.

    No video surveillance available for release.
    The Delaware State Police is asking anyone who may have any information in reference to this incident to contact the Robbery Unit at Troop 2 at 834-2630 extension 6.
