  • The Kennett Brewfest and Historic Kennett Square will launch its inaugural Kennett Winterfest on Feb. 23, from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The event will be held under a tent on South Broad Street between State Street and Cypress Street in downtown Kennett Square and will feature at least 25 of the top craft breweries, including Twin Lakes, Victory, 4 Hands, Round Guys, Lancaster Brewing, Starr Hill, Troegs and many more. The breweries will bring their rarest and most unique beer, and some of them like Yards will brew up something special just for this event.
All proceeds will benefit Historic Kennett Square, a non-profit organization working to keep Kennett Square a cultural and economic center.
No one under 21 will be admitted to the event. Tickets are $65 and include unlimited tastings of the craft beer and warm food from Talula's Table in Kennett Square. Tickets are very limited so get yours before it's, too, late.
Music will be provided by the Shady Groove Trio, comprised of musicians with Philadelphia ties who known for their ability to get everyone moving.
Winterfest is an all-weather event and there will be some heated space for guests to warm up if it's a chilly day.
For a full listing of participating breweries, visit Kennett Brewfest or the Kennett Brewfest Facebook page. For details or questions call the Historic Kennett Square office at (610) 444-8188.
