  • Police are looking for two suspects they say are responsible for an armed robbery that occurred Jan. 16 at Jakes Hamburgers restaurant, 2405 Kirkwood Highway, Elsmere.

  • Police are looking for two suspects they say are responsible for an armed robbery that occurred Jan. 16 at Jakes Hamburgers restaurant, 2405 Kirkwood Highway, Elsmere.
     Investigators say the two suspects entered the store with handguns and forced two employees and two customers to kneel or lie on the ground, while a third employee was forced to empty the cash registers. They say after the suspects received an undisclosed amount of money, they forced all three employees and both customers to lie on the ground where their hands were bound with zip ties.
