Cochran elected to AWIS Board

Karen Cochran, Esq., of Wilmington has been elected to the board of directors of the Association of Women in Science (AWIS).

Cochran will join the AWIS Board in January as a councilor representing the general membership of AWIS and will serve a three-year term. She works as an assistant chief IP counsel at DuPont in Wilmington where she leads a team of patent professionals responsible for patent procurement, licensing, and other intellectual property related activities.

She received a Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Temple University.
